What is it?
Kelato’s Greasy Heel Kit contains everything you need to combat and control greasy heel infection.
Your horse will feel better and perform better once the infection has gone. Useful for other skin infections such as ringworm, girth galls, rain scald and thrush.
What is Greasy Heel?
Greasy heel, or pastern dermatitis, is a painful infection caused by bacteria and fungi present in the soil or bedding, and characterised by inflamed, red skin and small sores.
In more severe cases, the sores can become large, infected and ooze pus or develop proud flesh. Greasy heel is most commonly found on the lower limbs, particularly in non-pigmented (white) areas on the hind legs.

– Cotton Wool & Gauze (250g)
– QuikHEAL (50g)
– EnduroWRAP cohesive bandage
– Disposable gloves (4 pairs)
– Handy 5L bucket and 10mL measuring scoop

Our Click & Collect service (available at checkout online) allows you to pick up your order from the shed. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for your order to be ready. Our team will contact you once your order is ready to be picked up.
